Throw in a chapter specific to the SB800/600 and charge more EF writes: Having been a long-time F5 user, I can offer the following regarding one aspect of the F6 in which Nikon did not include some very useful functionality from the F5.

If you can afford the newer F5 or the F6, it makes a whole lot sense to get one of those. However, keep in mind that this camera has its set of limitations.
Refer to the Parts List regarding the drip-proof sponge, which is not described in Disassembly/ (re)assembly chapters. The fact that the Nikon F4 is a milestone for Nikon, and the photography industry as a whole makes it a must-have camera for true photography enthusiasts and camera collectors. In case such a unit is further disassembled refer to the Parts List.In the chapter olf Disassembly, sometimes a large assembly unit is removed.
